Dark Mofo 2026: Amaru Tribes at MONA

Amaru Tribe will be bringing their powerful sound to Lutruwita/Tasmania this June, performing at the iconic Dark Mofo festival at MONA in Nipaluna/Hobart on Sunday 14 June.

Dark Mofo is renowned as a bold midwinter celebration of the dark, transforming Hobart through large-scale public art, music, fire, food, light and noise. The festival draws on centuries-old rituals and mythology, exploring connections between ancient and contemporary worlds, the human and natural, and the cycles of darkness and light, birth and renewal.

As part of this immersive cultural experience, Amaru Tribe will join a lineup of artists contributing to one of Australia’s most unique and atmospheric festivals.
