Amaru Tribe announces New Album and National Tour

Global bass and electronic Cumbia outfit Amaru Tribe announce their sophomore album ‘Entre Dos Mundos’ (Between Two Worlds) out Friday 18th March via Vibrating Planet, along with a National tour celebration which kicks off on Saturday the 19th of February which sees them visiting regional Victoria, Melbourne and Adelaide. The album will be officially launched on Thursday 24th March at The Night Cat, Fitzroy with support from Nomad, DJ Friday and DJ Otorongo

Taking influence from Reggaeton, Cumbia, global bass and hip hop, the album is a reflection of the band’s Colombian heritage. Featuring driving Afro Colombian rhythms, traditional S

outh American instruments, modern production and bilingual vocals that comprise the band’s unique approach to the Latin electronic sound. Of the tour the band says; ‘It's our first tour since 2019 when we toured not just Australia but the US, Thailand and Colombia. These couple of years have also made us value what we have around us so we hope we get to create a bigger Australian fan base in communities and areas that appreciate what we do.
